店は持たず、お客の家に出張して料理を振る舞う出張料理人・初雁福介(はつかりふくすけ)！ある日、七星電子株式会社大社長・喜一郎の古希のお祝いの場で料理を振る舞うべく出張にきた福介は、到着するなり何やら穏やかじゃない一家の状態を察する。喜一郎は若干ボケが始まっており、実質は息子の博文と重信が会社を動かしている状態。博文らとしては喜一郎の財産を会社の経営に充てようと考えているが、会社経営にタッチしていない三人目の息子・高士はこれに大反対。実は高士だけ腹違いの子供なのだ。「俺だけ腹違いの子だから相続放棄しろって言うのかよ……！」激昂した高士を止めたのは、福介の料理だった!?さすらいの出張料理人・初雁福介が自慢の「食」で全てを解決してゆく料理＆人情コミック！
